Standing Round House Kick

While holding onto a steady platform, point your left toe towards the platform and lift your right leg up to a high knee position. Shift your hips to the left to get your leg higher, letting your torso lean in towards the platform. Imagine your leg trying to kick items off of a table. Keeping your knee in the air and still, kick out with the foot and bring the shin and foot back. Repeat the kicking motion for reps or time, and then switch legs.
