Beginner: Assume push-up position with knees on mat & ankles crossed. Place SmithShaper (SS) so that it will roll side-ways. Put one hand on the floor and the other on the center of the SS. Keeping your back straight, slowly lower your body and push the SS away from your body to desired range of motion. Then push-up while pulling the SS back to top position. Repeat this movement for all reps and switch sides.
