Perform the chasse with dumbbells in hand--preferably a light weight. When you land out of the chasse, and step with the right leg, pivot the left foot onto the ball of the foot. Bend both legs and turn your hips forward. You should be in a split squat stance with the dumbbells at your shoulders. With the left arm, punch the dumbbell out. Then, turning your hips back to the side, push off with the left leg to do the same movement on the right.
